i lost a sock in the covers while snuggling with cade in our hotel room.
jet lag told me it was ok not to care.
i’m not sure i ever found it…
the boys took a wonderful two hour nap while in our hotel room.
never mind the fact that that wonderful nap started at 1730 (5:30 PM for non-military folks.)
jet lag told me it was ok, and that we could and should order tangled for ten dollars and treat ourselves to a late night movie.
so we did, and then the boys promptly fell asleep thirty minutes into that ten dollar movie.
jet lag told me it was still worth the ten dollars.
we’re over the jet lag now.
but i’m still lagging…
here, in this space.
i don’t have the words to describe how good home is.
this love affair between the south and germany? it’s tugging.
tugging at my soul. and i’m not sure which is stronger.
we have tan lines.
and hearts full of hugs.
i’ve had time to myself.
and the boys have had time away from their over-bearing, over-protective momma.
it’s been good.
and there might be decisions to be made.
